The DLP-4500 is a dedicated sealing machine, not a bag maker. It produces straight seals on large-format film blanks and is used as a complement in liner and flexitank production. It is the only machine in the series running a Siemens PLC.

What defines this machine

Sealing function only

The DLP-4500 does not form bags from the reel. It seals prepared blanks and thus complements the bag-making machines, for special formats or repair seams in large-format production.

Siemens control

As the only machine in the DLP series it uses a Siemens PLC. In plants standardised on Siemens this simplifies maintenance, spare parts and training.

Long seam lengths

The 4500 frame is designed for the seam lengths occurring on flexitanks and container liners, where standard sealing bars fall short.

Simple operation

Few process parameters and a clearly structured interface. The machine is manageable for semi-skilled operators.
