Principle
Apart from the enquiry form, this website is a static site. Without your consent no Google service is loaded. The only cookie that is set records your decision on the cookie notice; it requires no consent under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG, see the section on consent for details. The only processing that runs without consent is a cookieless measurement of reach provided by my hosting provider, which stores no information on your device and permits no recognition beyond the same day; see the section of the same name for details. In addition there is the access data that every web server processes when delivering a page. Server-side processing of your entries occurs solely when you submit the enquiry form; as long as you do not use it, none is triggered.
Server log files
When you access this website the hosting provider automatically processes access data: page requested, date and time, volume transferred, referrer URL, browser type and operating system, and the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in technically sound and secure operation of the website and in defending against attacks. Log files are deleted after 30 days. This data is not merged with other sources.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, which processes the data on my behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Delivery takes place via data centres within the European Union. Where data is transferred to the United States in the process, Vercel relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Cookieless measurement of reach
To see which pages are being accessed I use Vercel Web Analytics, a service of the hosting provider named above. The service works without cookies and places no identifier on your device. Since it neither stores nor reads information on your device, no consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG is required for it. What is recorded is the page accessed, the referring page, and country, operating system, browser type and device category. To distinguish returning from new requests, Vercel derives a hash from the characteristics of the request including the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored, and the hash is discarded after 24 hours; recognition beyond the same day or across other websites is therefore ruled out. No profile is created and no merging with your form entries takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in aligning this website with actual usage. You may object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR using the contact details above.
Consent for cookies and analytics
On your first visit a notice appears asking for your decision. It does not block the page: you can keep reading and also open the imprint and the privacy policy without deciding first. You can agree, decline, or decide purpose by purpose under 'Settings'; the buttons for agreeing and declining are equal in size and prominence. Only if you explicitly agree are Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics loaded and the associated cookies set. The legal basis for storing information on your device is § 25 (1) TDDDG, and for the subsequent processing Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent management uses the open-source software c15t, which runs entirely on this website; no further provider is involved. Your decision is stored in your browser so the notice does not reappear on every visit: in local storage and in a cookie of this website named 'delipu-consent' with a lifetime of one year. What is recorded is your choice per purpose, its timestamp and a randomly generated identifier with no link to your person. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you asked for — remembering your decision — and therefore requires no consent under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. After one year it expires and I ask again.
Evidence of consent
Under Art. 7(1) GDPR I must be able to demonstrate that you consented. Once you decide in the notice, your decision is therefore additionally recorded on my server. What is stored is the time of your decision and of its receipt, your choice per purpose, whether you decided via the notice or via the settings, the language and the version of the texts you agreed to, the domain, the jurisdiction applied, the country code reported by my hosting provider, and the random identifier from the cookie named above. Your IP address and your browser identification are not stored; they are dispensable for the evidence, and with them the record would be a personal trail rather than a receipt. Processing takes place in a server function in Frankfurt am Main, and the records are stored in the object storage of the same hosting provider in the same region; the data does not leave the European Union. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR. The records are deleted once they are no longer needed as evidence, at the latest three years after the respective consent has expired.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. After withdrawal the page reloads so that an already loaded Google Tag Manager is certain to be gone, and no further data is transmitted to Google. Data already collected is unaffected and is deleted once the retention period expires.
Google Tag Manager
After your consent I load Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-PK95DRMB) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data but manages the downstream tags. Loading it does, however, transmit your IP address to Google, as this is technically required to deliver the script.
Google Analytics 4
After your consent, Google Analytics 4 is executed through Tag Manager, also provided by Google Ireland Limited. The service collects information about your use of this website: pages viewed, time on page, traffic source, device used and approximate location based on a truncated IP address. Your IP address is used solely to derive the approximate location and is not stored by Google Analytics 4. The "Google signals" feature is disabled, so no cross-device linking with Google accounts takes place. Retention of usage data is limited to 14 months. I use this data solely to understand which content is being searched for and to align the website accordingly.
Which events are recorded
Beyond the plain page view, after your consent the website reports a range of further events to Google Analytics, which fall into five groups. Product interest: opening a machine or packaging page, transmitted with model designation, category, technology line and product type; clicking a product card in an overview list; and such a list becoming visible, with its name and the number of cards shown. Reading behaviour and attention: reaching 25, 50, 75 and 90 per cent of the page height; individual sections becoming visible, such as versions, features, technical data, questions and related products, each with the time elapsed up to that point and the scroll depth reached; and, when you leave or hide the page, a closing report comprising active reading time – time in the foreground, paused after a minute without input –, the greatest scroll depth, which sections you saw, whether the enquiry button was within your view, how far the form had progressed and what prompted you to leave; if you hide the page and return to it later, every further hiding produces another such report, consecutively numbered, so that the last one gives the final state of that page view. Routes to the enquiry: an enquiry button in the page content becoming visible for the first time – buttons in the header and the footer are left out of this count – and clicks on it, each with its position on the page, its label and the time elapsed; clicks on a phone number or an email address, with the page they were clicked from and the position of the link on it; clicks on a link leading away from this website, with its destination and likewise the position of the link; and switching between the German and the English version. Form progress: the first click into the enquiry form, the first touch of an individual field, the expansion of the optional additional details, the selection of a machine or packaging in the selection field, rejected mandatory checks as well as server or network errors on submission, leaving a started form without submitting it, and finally the successfully submitted enquiry. What is transmitted here are the names of the fields concerned, their order, their number and the time spent in the form; of the field contents, only your choice from the given product list is passed on, once at the moment you choose it and once again when you submit. What you type freely, that is the text of your enquiry, and likewise your name, email address, telephone number, company and country, never leaves your browser through these events. Origin of the visit: once per page view, where you came from, classified as AI assistant, search engine, social network, referral from another website, advertising campaign, direct access and navigation within this website, together with the host of the referring page – not its full address –, any campaign parameters from the address bar and the approximate width of your browser window; the same origin detail in this short form is also appended to a submitted enquiry. Beyond that, every one of these events carries the context of the page it arises on: page type, path and language version, and on product pages also model designation, category, technology line and product type. I evaluate these details to see which products are in demand, how far visitors read, whether they get to see the offer at all and where enquiries are abandoned. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time. Without your consent none of these events is transmitted; with no Tag Manager loaded they remain in your browser memory and do not leave it. If you consent only part-way through your visit, this takes effect retroactively for the page view already under way: the events that have arisen up to that point are still in memory and are then transmitted as well. If you withdraw, the website stops transmitting at once, within the running page view. These events themselves place nothing on your device: no cookie, no local storage, no session storage. They are not merged with the remaining details of your enquiry and are not used to identify you.
Consent mode and transfers to the USA
Before any consent, all Google consent signals are set to "denied". Google Ireland Limited may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA. For that transfer Google relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the Commission established an adequate level of protection by decision of 10 July 2023. Despite these safeguards, access by US authorities cannot be entirely ruled out. If you do not want this, decline consent in the banner; the website is fully usable without analytics.
Enquiry form
If you use the enquiry form I process the details you enter solely to handle your enquiry and any resulting follow-up questions. Mandatory fields are contact person, email address and the text of your enquiry; all other entries are optional. On submission your browser transmits the details to a server function of this website, which passes them straight on as an email to my mailbox; see the following section for details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In my mailbox the data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no commercial or tax retention periods apply.
Context details in your enquiry
When you submit the enquiry form, four details are appended to the enquiry email that your browser provides anyway when the form page is loaded: the page you visited before, given with its full address where you came from outside this website and otherwise with the path of the page you last read here; the page from which you submitted the form; the device type and language setting of your browser; and, where present, campaign parameters from the address bar. They serve solely to place your enquiry in context and answer it precisely. They go into the enquiry email regardless of whether you have consented to statistics; they are not transmitted to Google in this full form. Nothing is stored on your device or read from it for this purpose, so § 25 TDDDG does not apply. No history across several page views is created, and without submitting the form the details do not leave your device. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Delivery of your enquiry
Your entries are received by a server function of this website running in the Frankfurt am Main data centre, which delivers them straight to my mailbox at IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, by email. No external form service is involved. The entries are not cached anywhere in the process, neither on the server nor at a third party, and they do not leave the European Union. To fend off automated submissions the form contains a field invisible to humans; if it is filled in, I discard the submission. No external spam filtering service is used, no CAPTCHA is employed, and your IP address is neither evaluated nor stored for delivery. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS; the servers are located in Germany. Once delivered, your enquiry resides solely in my mailbox and is subject to the deletion periods stated in the previous section.
Transfer to the manufacturing plant
To specify a machine technically and prepare a quotation it is regularly necessary to transfer your enquiry data to Zhejiang Delipu Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in China. What is transferred are the technical details and your company name; personal contact data is passed on only where necessary to process the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for China, so the transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. If you do not want such a transfer, please say so in your enquiry. Specification is then only possible to a limited extent.
Email and telephone contact
If you contact me by email or telephone I process the data transmitted in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Unencrypted email can be read in transit; please use another channel for confidential information.
Obligation to provide data
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide me with personal data. This website can be read in full without entering anything and without agreeing to any analytics. If you wish to make an enquiry I need the entries marked as mandatory in the form: without them I cannot process your request, and without a means of contact I cannot reply. No disadvantage arises for you; you can equally reach me by phone or email.
No automated decision-making
Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place. I decide on your enquiry personally. The statistical data from Google Analytics and from the measurement of reach does not feed into that decision and is not linked to your enquiry.
Your rights
You have the right of access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time. Please use the contact details above.
Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint about the processing of your data with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestrasse 2-4, 40213 Duesseldorf, Germany. You may also contact the authority of your place of residence.
