DLP series bag-making machines
The DLP series comprises 18 bag-making machines across three application fields: seven models for food packaging, nine for industrial packaging and two for medical sterile packaging. All machines convert bags from the film reel. Filling is not part of the process.
Food
Whether fruit juice in bag-in-box, coffee in a doypack or cheese in a vacuum bag: the machine has to match the bag format, not the other way round. These seven models cover the common food formats. Three of them process recyclable PE mono-material.

Frequently asked questions
What is a bag-making machine?
- A bag-making machine converts finished, empty bags from a film reel: it draws the web, forms, seals, applies elements such as valves or zippers and cuts the bags. Filling is done by a separate filling line.
How do the Intelligent line and the classic line differ?
- The Intelligent line uses servo active unwind, pulse sealing and recipe-based changeover and processes recyclable PE mono-material. The classic line uses stepper motors with magnetic powder brake and conventional heat sealing for laminates.
What does the model number mean?
- The figure presumably reflects the working width in millimetres. For the DLP-1600 the manufacturer states a machine width of 1,650 mm. This relationship is not officially confirmed.
What are the lead times?
- Delivery and commissioning depend on model, configuration and factory workload. Both are stated bindingly in the quotation.
