PE mono-material film on the reel
PE mono-material film consists entirely of polyethylene and can therefore be recycled as a single-polymer PE stream. Delipu Europe supplies it on the reel, printed or plain, matched to the pulse sealing process of the Intelligent line. Recyclability on the data sheet becomes recyclability in the process.

What matters here
Recyclable means single polymer
A laminate of PET, aluminium and PE cannot be separated and goes to incineration. A pure PE structure goes into the PE stream. In Germany the packaging fees under the Packaging Act hang on exactly that difference.
The sealing window is narrow
With pure PE only a few degrees separate "not sealed" from "melted through". We supply the film with the sealing profile it runs on across our machines rather than with a data sheet alone.
Barrier without breaking the material stream
Where barrier is required, an EVOH layer inside the PE structure provides it. Its share stays low enough that single-polymer recycling remains possible.
From the same house as machine and pouch
Film, sealing parameters and machine come from one house. If a seam ever misbehaves, there is no dispute over responsibility between three suppliers.

Frequently asked questions
Is PE mono-material genuinely recyclable?
- As a material yes, it goes into the PE stream. Whether it is actually recycled also depends on collection, sorting and on zipper, valve and label being PE-based too. A zipper in PA cancels the benefit entirely.
How does the barrier compare with laminates?
- Pure PE has a lower oxygen barrier than an aluminium or PET laminate. With an EVOH layer it comes close. Whether that is sufficient is decided by your shelf-life requirement, not by principle.
Will the film run on my existing machine?
- Only if it can hold a narrow temperature profile. Machines with conventional continuous heating do not produce a reproducible seam on pure PE. We check that against your sealing technology beforehand rather than selling you film your line cannot run.
