What is the difference between a doypack and a stand-up pouch?

None in substance. "Doypack" is a historical trade name for the self-supporting pouch with a folded bottom gusset, "stand-up pouch" is the descriptive term. Both mean the same product.

Can you run our existing artwork?

Yes. We convert from printed reel stock. You supply the film or we source it to your artwork. The cut follows the print mark so the design sits in the same place across the whole reel.

Is a zipper possible with mono-material?

Yes, with a PE-based zipper. A zipper made from a different polymer would break the single-polymer structure and cancel the recycling benefit.

Stand-up pouches, also called doypacks, stand on the shelf by themselves thanks to a folded bottom gusset. Delipu Europe supplies them with zipper, tear notch, euro hole or degassing valve, in laminate or recyclable PE mono-material, produced on the DLP-600 stand-up / zipper.

What matters here

The bottom decides how it stands

The bottom gusset determines whether the filled pouch stands straight or tips over. Its geometry and seal pattern are designed around fill weight and bulk density rather than a standard value.

The zipper goes in on the same pass

The zipper is fed and sealed inside the bag machine. That keeps its position constant across the whole batch and removes a downstream operation.

Mono-material for the recycling quota

Pure PE can be recovered in the PE stream, an aluminium laminate cannot. Where your packaging fees depend on recyclability, this is the lever with the largest effect.
