Is the liner approved for food?

With correspondingly certified film, yes. The declaration of conformity under Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 comes from the film supplier and is included with the delivery.

How does an IBC liner differ from a bag-in-box pouch?

In scale and in the outer container. The IBC liner sits inside a rigid 1,000 litre container with its own outlet valve; the bag-in-box pouch sits in a carton or drum and carries its valve itself.

IBC liners are inner bags for 1,000 litre containers and remove the need to clean the vessel between two products. Delipu Europe produces them as 3D liners lying fold-free against the wall and as water bags for stackable containers, on the DLP-1300 IBC liner and the DLP-600.

What matters here

One liner replaces one cleaning cycle

Without a liner the container has to be rinsed and dried between two products. With a liner it is swapped. Once cleaning cost and downtime are counted, the comparison almost always favours the liner.

Connections match your vessel geometry

Outlet and top spouts are placed to suit your container type. A liner with a misplaced outlet cannot be corrected, it is scrap.

Residual discharge without product pockets

The 3D version lies against the vessel wall instead of settling into folds. With viscous liquids and high-value concentrates that decides the yield per container.

Barrier by product, not by catalogue

Oxygen-sensitive goods get an EVOH structure, robust ones a pure PE structure. The specification follows your shelf-life requirement.
